New York Personal Training

Just because you have a New York personal trainer, it doesn’t mean you are training correctly. Too many gym members waste time and money with New York personal trainers who are more talented at selling memberships and training sessions than they are at providing quality exercise expertise. In most large membership gyms, a typical New York personal trainer is expected or required to meet weekly or monthly quotas for personal training sessions. This policy places a premium on volume of training over quality of training and is not in the best interest of the customer, YOU.

At his private gym in Soho, where New York personal trainer Mike Creamer works with one client per hour, there are no crowds or distractions or other New York personal trainers soliciting for your business.

Anatomically Correct is a personal training-only gym with no membership fees. Clients can choose to purchase packages of 30 or 60 minute training sessions at rates that are highly competitive for a leading New York personal trainer. Mike understands your time is valuable and will never waste a minute of your workout. You will accomplish more in one session with Mike than would be possible in multiple sessions elsewhere. At Anatomically Correct, it’s all about you, so you can stay focused and get results. It’s like having your own private gym with your own New York personal trainer.

Personal training is exercise that is as unique as you. At Anatomically Correct training is profoundly personal and Mike is committed to helping you achieve your fitness goals and improving the quality of your life. His level of commitment is a stark contrast to that of most New York personal trainers. Unlike many New York personal trainers, Mike doesn’t just “talk the talk” but actively practices what he teaches. He is passionate about exercise and his enthusiasm is inspiring and motivating.

As a former competitive powerlifter Mike understands a thing or two about the concept of “power” in exercise. After all power provides the work that goes into a workout. When force (power) is applied work is done. Energy (caloric) expenditure while exercising is directly related to the amount of force (power) applied. Without adequate application of force during exercise little work (energy) is produced. Mike is a big proponent of “power-based” exercise, which he uses in his own training and in training his clients.

Power-based exercise, which measures force in watts, while cycling and rowing, is not a new concept but one that is unknown to the vast majority of New York personal trainers. Mike’s one-on-one “power” indoor cycling and indoor rowing workouts, using CycleOps bikes and Concept2 rowing machines are one of the many innovations that make him a unique and standout New York personal trainer.
